THANKSGIVING TURKEYBOWL 2021

THE RULE BOOK

-          7 on 7
-          Start on the 40 yd line, First and Goal one you reach 20 yd line
-          40 Minute Games (consisting of two 20 minute half’s, with 10 minute intermission)
1st Half: 20 minutes running time.
2nd Half: 20 minutes running time.
Clock stops at 2 minute warning and every dead ball after the 2 minutes. (Clock will continue to run if tackled in bounds)
-          21 Point Rule in effect. Must score on next possession to avoid defeat.
-          Tough Touch (No Tackle)
-          No Flag Guarding
-          Offense must have at least two down linemen per play (cant leave the line).
-          Tight End can come down to the line or be spread out wide. Tight End is allowed to block on the line or spread out as a receiver. Be aware, if Tight End is on the line of scrimmage, he has the option of being an eligible receiver or staying on the line to help block. Tight End must announce himself to the Referee if he is on the line. This will hopefully eliminate confusion of distinguishing the Tight End from the other two linemen.
-          (5 Mississippi) Referee Loud Count
-          Must inform the referee if you elect to punt on 4th down.
-          1 First down per possession (Start on the 40 yd line, First and Goal one you reach 20 yd line)
-          Extra Point Conversions 1 point 5 yards. 2 points 10 yards.
-          Each team will have (two) 1 minute timeouts.
-          In an attempt to remove the flag belt from a runner, defensive players may contact the body and shoulders, but not the face, neck or any part of the head of an opponent with their hands.
-          Defensive player may not hold, push or knock the runner down in an attempt to remove the flag belt
-          A CATCH: A catch is one foot in bounds. Force out is still a catch.
-          Pre-snap penalties. 5 yards from line of scrimmage
-          Penalties After Snap. 5 yards from line of scrimmage, and loss of down except major infractions (Unnecessary Roughness/ Pass Interference/ Unsportsmanlike Conduct)
-          Major infractions will result in first down. If past First down marker half the distance to the goal.
-          It is at the discretion of REFEREES to eject any player for unsportsmanlike conduct, vulgarity or any serious repeat offences. (Positive Vibes Only) 
-          Championship Team will take annual picture with TurkeyBowl Trophy.
